Young Child Seriously Injured in Car Accident Outside Primary School

A young boy was seriously injured when he was struck by a car outside a primary school in Worcester. The six-year-old was taken to the hospital following the incident.

The accident occurred around 3pm near Stanley Road Primary School, involving a silver Ford Fiesta. Authorities are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage from the location at the time of the incident.

PC Warren from West Mercia Police stated, “We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the incident this afternoon. A six-year-old boy was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.”

The spokesperson for the police urged, “Anyone with information should call PC Warren or email the provided address. Alternatively, information can be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers.”
