Warwickshire’s 2024 County Championship and T20 Blast Fixture List Revealed

Warwickshire is set to kickstart their 2024 County Championship season with an anticipated clash against rivals Worcestershire at Edgbaston in early April. Following this, the Bears will play their first two games at home, with fellow promoted team Durham visiting quickly after, and then they embark on a trip to the south coast to face Hampshire.

The T20 Blast campaign for Warwickshire sees them face Durham at Chester-le-Street, followed by a home game against Notts Outlaws at Edgbaston. Additionally, the One Day Cup will commence at the end of July with a trip to Essex, with the hope of securing outgrounds for matches to expand the Bears' presence throughout the region.

The push to find suitable outgrounds stems from the club’s vision to alleviate congestion at Edgbaston, as expressed by Bears' chief executive Stuart Cain. Cain emphasizes the importance of reaching the broader county and engaging younger generations, highlighting the desire to create a Warwickshire festival with multiple social events.
