Salisbury Hospital staff are being honored by local businesses with a range of exclusive discounts as a token of appreciation for their hard work. The initiative, a collaboration between Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, Salisbury & District Chamber of Commerce, and Salisbury Business Improvement District, aims to recognize the dedication and resilience of the hospital staff who continue to serve amid challenging circumstances and rising living costs.
The program, launched on November 22, features a variety of special offers including savings on entertainment, food and drink, home insurance, hairdressing, and more, for the benefit of the hospital staff.
Melanie Whitfield, chief people officer for Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, expressed, “Our people have told us they value the financial and practical support we can give them and their families. Listening to the feedback, we have created a scheme which supports both hospital staff and Salisbury businesses and I’m delighted that we can work together. Alleviating some of the financial pressures for our staff whilst encouraging them to shop locally will be mutually beneficial for the whole community.”
