Police arrest suspect in Kingstanding after seizing pepper spray, drugs, and phone in county lines operation

In a joint operation, detectives from West Mercia and West Midlands Police conducted simultaneous raids in Kingstanding and Willenhall on Tuesday, November 21, resulting in the arrest of a 31-year-old man from Kingstanding on suspicion of being involved in the supply of Class A drugs. The suspect was taken to Worcester Police Station where a search of the addresses uncovered cannabis, a mobile phone, and pepper spray.

The operation was aimed at disrupting the supply of drugs into south Worcestershire, known as a county line, which involves transporting drugs from one county area to another.

Det Insp Dave Knight, leading the South Worcestershire Proactive CID, expressed the team’s commitment to dismantling drug supply lines into south Worcestershire. The efforts form part of Op Target, a focus on targeting serious and organized crime to ensure community safety.
