Police arrest 31-year-old in Kingstanding for drug offences

Authorities detained a 31-year-old man from Kingstanding, Birmingham, on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs during simultaneous raids in Kingstanding and Willenhall. The man was taken to Worcester Police Station following the operation on Tuesday, November 21, where cannabis, a mobile phone, and pepper spray were confiscated.

The coordinated effort targeted the supply of drugs into south Worcestershire, known as a county line, a criminal activity involving transporting drugs from one county area to another.

Det Insp Dave Knight, from the South Worcestershire Proactive CID, emphasized the dedication of the County Lines team in disrupting and dismantling drug supply lines and protecting those exploited in the process.

The operation was part of Op Target, a West Mercia Police initiative focusing on combating serious and organized crime to ensure community safety.
